SOUTHERN MANUFACTURING & ELECTRONICS PREVIEW FEATURE

existing operations, portable equipment or bespoke designs. Pryor will be demonstrating its ‘on-

the-fly’ high speed laser marking product which enables permanent laser marking on a high-speed conveyor in as little as 0.5 seconds. The marks meet industrial standards and are as high quality as a stationery mark. With portability being a key factor for a

lot of businesses, Pryor’s portable laser offers mobility and allows easy marking of large, immobile and heavy items, and can mark onto a wide range of materials. In addition, Pryor will be showing its

Portadot product which provides a fast and mobile method of dot-peen marking. Portadot is suitable for marking permanent alphanumeric, logo or 2D barcode information onto immobile, large or heavy components. Best known for brands such as LOCTITE, TEROSON, BONDERITE and TECHNOMELT, Henkel, a leading innovator in adhesive technology, will introduce visitors to an exciting new development, its 3D printing material solutions for industrial manufacturing. Henkel is applying its know-how in high performance materials such as light cure acrylic, silicone, epoxy and polyurethane adhesives to the rapidly growing market for additive manufacturing; from prototyping to final parts production. Henkel is also developing tailor-made products and services to provide high- impact solutions for various industrial sectors and expanding its partnerships with other technology leaders such as HP, for which Henkel is the first global reseller of its 3D printers’ portfolio. The company will also demonstrate

evidence of its continuous product development across all technologies, one example being the LOCTITE 518 gasket sealant. This product’s scope of application has been increased by its capability to cure through light surface contamination and to work well on stainless steel and aluminium without an activator. Other exhibitor examples include Harmonic Software Systems, launching its new Hypervisor Reference Platform for Safety Critical Systems at the show, and Heidenhain's Industry 4.0-compatible StateMonitor software suite.
