e’ve all read them, “class-leading”, “energy-efficient”, “superior steam quality”, but do these claims stack up? We look at Fulton’s award-winning VSRT-60 and compare it to similar 60HP vertical steam boilers available in the UK.

Efficiency - With full operating performance curves available throughout the full range of output, Fulton’s VSRT provides an 84% gross thermal efficiency compared to approximately 80%, which results in lower operating costs. A Fulton-designed modulating burner and furnace also achieves ultra-low NOx emissions of <20ppm and 10:1 turndown capability.
Steam - At 1,306 litres, the water volume of the VSRT-60 is >120% greater than equivalent 60HP boilers, yet it still boasts a start-up time of 10-15 minutes and its installed footprint is >25% smaller. The VSRT also achieves a 99.75% steam quality, a figure most are unwilling to publish.
Durability - Fulton believes the VSRT will beat the competition, which is why all models come with a 10-year “unparalleled” warranty on the pressure vessel, d ouble that of the industry standard.

L The first encapsulated coil for this environment
(temperature rating T3) to come with an external armature and not merely an explosion-proof enclosure, the coil falls within the M2 equipment category. According to ATEX directive 2014/34/EU, this means “Mining equipment whose power supply is interrupted when in the presence of gas”. Unlike coils with an explosion-proof enclosure, which have a temperature rating of T5 and T6 (low surface temperatures), this type of equipment does not need t be heavily de-energised. Temperature and Humidity /Moisture Handheld– HP32 R
OTRONIC has introduced the HP32 temperature and humidity measurement handheld which is perfect for industries of all types, research organisations and test houses. This precision instrument enables spot-checks of temperature, humidity and moisture levels to be made in production and process areas, packaging rooms, stores and many other key areas.
