IO Link for IBS04 & ICS05 Sensors
arlo Gavazzi continues to extend their product offering of IO Link communication by launching the IBS04 & ICS05 with integrated IO Link communication. The IBS and ICS series are among the smallest inductive sensors with on-board IO-Link communication available in the market. Each device is easily configured by setting the internal parameters via an IO-Link master. The IBS04 and ICS05 series represent the optimal solution for industrial automation equipment in applications where space is very limited and where non-contact detection of metal objects in general position-sensing and presence sensing is required such as tool selection, robotic position-sensing and control of micro-mechanisms.

The IBS and ICS family are available in a robust stainless steel housing, Ø4 smooth barrel or M5 male threaded barrel and have an operating distance of 0.8 to 1.3 mm.

hen a client approached Chell Instruments with a specific challenge, our engineering team got straight to work. Using our industry leading expertise and experience, the ideal solution was developed for their gas meter calibration requirements. Now, a version of the Gas Meter Test Rig (GMTR) we created is available from Chell for everyone wishing to test and calibrate domestic gas meters, including manufacturers and calibration houses.
The GMTR is a multi-channel bench-top system that allows testing of the functionality, accuracy, stability and leak integrity of up to four domestic gas meters simultaneously. It is compatible with older ‘diaphragm’ type positive displacement meters, as well as the newer ‘smart’ ultrasonic meters.
The device contains high accuracy flow, pressure and temperature instrumentation and can generate any flow set- point up to 12,000 litres per hour, maintaining a l ow outlet pressure to prevent damage to the gas meters under test.

Truly customer-focused, Vaisala's viewLinc Monitoring System, released in April 2018, was innovated together with customers throughout the whole development project to ensure the storage conditions of critical assets, such as medicines and vaccines in pharmaceutical warehouses and labs. Based on Vaisala's decade-long technological experience, the system combines industry-best sensors with wireless technology and data loggers that monitor different parameters, such as temperature, relative humidity and dew point, sending alarms to users, if the monitored parameters deviate from permitted values. The data loggers transmit the measurements to connected access points, forming an easy-to-use, truly reliable wireless and browser-based monitoring system that provides gap-free and easily-auditable data.
