PBL series suited to surfaces and PCBs

CL Enclosures has expanded its PBL Series of fl anged
enclosures for small assemblies or potting box applications. The fl anged system assists surface mounting, to secure the system to the appropriate area; it can also be used to house and mount small PCBs.
There are three variants within the PBL Series: PBL2 and PBL3 are general boxes with bases, while the PBL7 is a fl anged enclosure featuring a separate self-locking base and seven numbered slots
to take wires or 0.25 inch PCB mounting blades. There is also a raised panel to take labels for easy identifi cation of contents and other information. The third option in the PBL series is a range of models with fi xing fl anges, bases and slotted mounting lugs. All of the above are moulded in Black ABS as standard, other colours and materials are available upon request.

Mini-rack enclosures largen Metcase’s offerings

etcase is off ering a range of standard and customised 19 inch aluminium enclosures for desktop and portable
instrumentation. Its new Technomet mini-rack enclosures and proven Instrumet 19 inch cases off er solutions for test and measurement, laboratory instrumentation, networking and comms, industrial computers and sound/audio systems. Both models off er smart design for swift and easy installation of 19 inch subracks, chassis and front panels. They feature threaded M4 pillars for earth connections and ventilation in the base and rear panels. The Technomet range is supplied with ABS side handles and non-slip feet, while the Instrumet range has ABS tilt feet and an optional tilt/swivel carry handle that doubles as an ergonomic desk stand. Technomet is available in three standard sizes (3U, 4U and 6U heights, 400 mm deep), while Instrumet is available in one height (3U) with a choice of two widths: 10.5 or 19 inch, in depths of 350 or 450 mm. Standard colours are light grey (RAL 7035)/window grey (RAL 7040).
