TR is already currently supporting a number of key customers involved in the design or manufacture of EV and charging components. TR has developed innovative fasteners and mounting components that are ideal for the “Battery Tray Module” that connects the intricate battery cells to each other, the motor, and then to the other electric components. The fasteners involved in this section of the vehicle must meet certain strict requirements and often have very specific properties. In this regard, TR can offer a range of fasteners that are suitable for EV applications such as inserts, mounting screws, connector plates and mould-in studs for the plastic casings of the battery module.
In addition, for the battery module and other plastic assemblies, TR can supply compression limiters which provide clearance and maintain joint integrity of the plastic components, the strength of the compression limiter withstands the compressive force induced during assembly, protecting the plastic components.
