Electronics Today launches new dedicated YouTube channel
We at Electronics Today are proud to announce we have launched our new dedicated YouTube channel. Featuring video interviews from this year’s Southern Manufacturing Show, we look forward to building our video content as much as possible in the coming months. Companies we interviewed at the event included: Altus, Wurth, Neutrik and MIDAS. As a further platform for the electronics industry, it is our hope to have content that is constantly relevant and exciting. New product launch videos, latest interviews, exploring events and celebrating awards ceremonies will be among the videos we hope to post. Smiths Interconnect honours TTI Europe with prestigious award
TTI, Inc. – Europe has won the ‘Best Distributor of the Year EMEA – 2022’ award from Smiths Interconnect. The award celebrates the distributor that achieves the highest level of sales growth across EMEA compared to the previous year. This is the third time that TTI Europe has been honoured with an award from Smiths Interconnect, having previously been the recipient of the inaugural “Global Distributor of the Year – 2019 & 2020” accolades.

Mouser Electronics and Asahi Kasei Microdevices sign global distribution
Mouser Electronics, Inc., has reached a global distribution agreement with Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM), an industry leader in advanced sensors and analogue/digital mixed-signal ICs. Asahi Kasei Microdevices provides customers with unique products by combining the compound semiconductor technology mainly used for magnetic sensors with the ASIC/analogue circuit technology based on silicon

semiconductors. The new agreement gives design engineers easy access to Asahi Kasei Microdevices’ sensors and audio chips for mobile, automotive, industrial, and consumer markets. The Asahi Kasei Microdevices portfolio now available from Mouser includes the CZx coreless current sensor ICs. These devices feature creepage and clearance distances of 8mm or more and high
accuracy. These current sensor ICs support a wide current range and generate less heat. The CZ3Ax current sensor ICs have two overcurrent detection circuits, and each overcurrent detection threshold can be adjusted from the outside. The CZ37x current sensor ICs feature a built-in disturbance magnetic field suppression function that improves system efficiency and precise control in various applications.
