malfi Trading was founded in 2005 as an independent distributor of electronic
components. Its rewarding development is a result of trading with companies located around the globe. This success is due to a very attentive, demanding and constantly growing market.
In the past several years, Amalfi Trading has become a global distributor for brands such as: CCI , SCS , TRANSCEND , COILMASTER and DIOTEC
Let’s start from the beginning, when did Amalfi Trading feel the need to establish a relationship with the manufacturers it represents today? Amalfi Trading has a long history in the industry and it was able to make room in a rapidly expanding market, thanks to the professionalism and teamwork of our sales team. Our customers are a combination of prominent OEM and CEM in the Aerospace, Military, Medical, Automotive and Consumer electronic industries. Our partners choose Amalfi Trading daily for its utmost professionalism and quality products. We felt it was important to represent manufacturers that would help our current customers and have more of a global presence in those markets. We also wanted to expand our range of products beyond electronic components.
When did Amalfi Trading offi cially become an authorized distributor of these brands? In 2016, the fi rst agreement with Transcend marked the beginning of Amalfi ’s partnerships. We wanted to focus on materials related to the production of electronic boards such as ESD packaging and antistatic products, from envelopes to tools and so on. We are proud of the hard work we put into acquiring CCI/SCS/TRANSCEND/DIOTEC AND COILMASTER as their Global Authorized distributor. We are doing all we can to
represent their brands to our customer base and beyond.
How did customers respond to this collaboration?
After settling in, our customers have been very impressed with the brands we represent. They know we have direct contact with the manufacturer which means we can benefi t from competitive pricing and shorter lead times. Our customers can trust us to help them fi nd the solutions they need with always receiving the same quality service from the Amalfi Trading group.
Our franchised lines are mostly based in the United States, certifi ed and with a very high standard. Therefore, the competition, globally, remains fi erce but the feedback from our customers shows a remarkable appreciation of the products guaranteed by the quality that justifi es the price.
In consideration of all this, it seems Amalfi Trading had to appoint someone who can be dedicated to supporting the customers with these specialized products. Exactly, Amalfi Trading has recognized that the management of these products should be entrusted to someone who has the technical expertise and who can communicate with the customers and understand their demands. My role as a Product Specialist is due in part to my personal technical background and extensive experience with Italian and foreign EMS. As well as having close collaborations with several international companies. The development of my know-how is combined with visits to partner suppliers and the constant verifi cation and updating of the main aspects of the products proposed, as this sector is always in continuous development and requires accurate training.
How is the work expected in the near future?
Is there demand for this material? Companies, in particular EMS, who want to have feedback and attack the various markets such as the Automotive and Aerospace, must without compromise, adapt and comply with the ESD world. This creates specialized EPA areas and allows operators to work safely and in environments with a high level of quality. For this reason, the products offered will have more and more positive feedback and will be increasingly required by companies who want to maintain a high level of service. We are here to help them in this!
