on extended lead times, any parts that are obsolete or scheduled for obsolescence along with the last time buy information is listed to share with the end customer. Any part numbers that have typos or have changed over the time are updated and alternatives are offered if a part cannot be sourced.


Each member of the team has a specific area of expertise with a sound technical knowledge, providing greater support on a wider range of materials. These changes have meant more direct contact with customers, fewer queries at point of order and a higher ‘right first time’ rate.


Many of the suppliers that hold a no liability stock level for Circuit Solutions have both deepened and broadened the range they hold to cover as many parts as possible and this helps to ensure that Circuit Solutions has a constant supply of high demand components. This has also helped in the current climate due to the extended lead times of up to 60 weeks we are seeing and is used as a rolling buffer stock to keep lead times as low as possible.


This is by no means fool proof with the perfect storm of Brexit and Covid-19 the availability of components is set to remain constrained at a time where markets are starting to thrive. All non-franchised suppliers share the sources they purchase from,


provide any certificates of conformity available and include full electrical and decap testing on parts as required.


Looking ahead to Q3 & Q4 of 2021, Circuit Solutions goal, it states, is to continue to work with its suppliers to ensure all steps are taken that are reasonably practicable to mitigate extended lead times and known

planned price increases as well as working closely with those same suppliers to identify and manage any further impact of Covid-19 and the continued strain on the supply chain.
