This enables improved system efficiency as the power supplies are always optimally utilised. In particular, the power supplies enable automated responses to cope with unplanned operating conditions, which often led to downtime or even damage. The CP10.241-ETC, CP20.241-ETC (both 24 V) and CP20.481-ETC (48 V) with EtherCAT interface also impress with PULS-typical top values in the basic power supply functions: efficiency of more than 95 %, maximum reliability and lifetime, permanently 20 % extra power at temperatures up to 45 °C, and ease of installation thanks to PULS QuickConnect terminals. All these features are housed in an extremely robust, yet compact metal housing with a width of only 48 mm.
PULS offers all the documentation and tools required to integrate their smart power supplies with EtherCAT into customer’s automation networks, enabling direct access to the device data from the PLC or embedded controller.
