Intelliconnect celebrates opening of new base
Intelliconnect (Europe) Ltd, the UK based specialist manufacturer of RF, waterproof and cryogenic connectors and cable harness assemblies, have opened of their new base for sales, marketing and engineering in Witham, Essex.
T
he new 4300sq/ft facility is poised to be a hub of innovation and excellence, providing a base for long-term company growth, and will be home to Engineering, Sales, Admin and Marketing, featuring an exhibition area and conference suite. It will also be available for other Trexon group companies to use as European base. The event saw a gathering of employees, partners, customers and other Trexon group company representatives coming together to celebrate the occasion.
Gareth Phillips, Managing Director of Intelliconnect, says, “The grand opening of our new office in Witham, Essex, marks a significant milestone in our story, and one that paves a way for a prosperous future. This event was not just about a new location, but a testament to the collective effort of the Intelliconnect family in making our business what it is today.”
Employees from different departments and partner companies also used this opportunity to discuss ideas, share insights, and explore potential new collaborations.
Phillips continues, “With our business and partners being spread across the UK and beyond, it is rare that we find the time to all get together. Being able to spend a day getting to know each other better was a real joy.” After a celebratory barbeque, Managing Director Gareth Phillips made a keynote speech reflecting on past achievements and offering an exciting glimpse into the future. He also made a number of awards including two special awards for long-service.

Maria Wright, a Sales Administrator, has been with Intelliconnect from the very beginning, an incredible 20 years, and has been a cornerstone of the company’s sales operations, contributing significantly to its growth and success. Her dedication, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues throughout her two decades of employment.
Arden Lawson, a Production Engineer, marked his 10th year with the company. Known for his technical expertise and problem-solving skills, Arden has played a crucial role in the company’s production processes. His contributions have been instrumental in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony carried out by the two long serving employees was the highlight of the day, symbolising the beginning of a new chapter for Intelliconnect.
