ULS, a technology and market leader in DIN-Rail power supplies, can now provide from stock three new DIN rail power supplies with 240 W and 480 W output power and integrated EtherCAT interface. The new power supplies with EtherCAT interface enable efficient and time-saving configuration, operation monitoring and remote control. To achieve this, the devices provide a wide range power supply and application data, such as voltage and current characteristics on the input and output side. The power supplies are

connected directly to an EtherCAT controller without requiring additional gateways. This allows easy and fast access to all measured values and power supply functions. Based on the power supply data, machine manufacturers and operators can optimise their machines in terms of efficiency and productivity. Real-time data transmission via EtherCAT makes possible the monitoring, logging and remote control of complex systems.
