Piezoresistive manifold low pressure sensors from 1 mbar
F
irst Sensor presents its new piezoresistive low differential pressure sensors of the HTD series with measuring ranges from 1 mbar to 7 bar. The very small and flat sensors with a footprint of only 8 x 13 mm and a height of <7 mm are ideal for space-saving manifold assemblies. The sensors feature digital signal processing with 15 bit resolution and an SPI interface as well as an analog output signal. The high-accuracy and long-term stable sensors with 3.3 V or 5 V supply are suitable for battery-powered applications in mobile and portable devices. In manifold modules, the SMD miniature sensors allow a compact arrangement without the elaborate and error-prone tubing of individual components. For pick-and-place machines in high-volume production, the HTD sensors can optionally be supplied on tape and reel. Typical applications of the HTD sensors can be found in medical devices and HVAC.

BASE Technology, a manufacturer of application specific industrial embedded computing platforms, has launched its new ET975 COM Express Computer-on-Module based on the ultra-low voltage 7th Generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 processor (Kaby Lake-U).
Measuring only 95mm x 95mm, the compact ET975 is still equipped with a number of features with two DDR4-2133 SO- DIMM sockets with a 32GB capacity, operating temperature range from 0°C to +60°C, and Intel® Gen 9 HD low-power integrated graphics on the SoC providing 4K resolution via DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort and LVDS. The I/O includes one gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.0 and eight USB 2.0 ports, two serial ports and two SATA III ports.
The board supports the IBASE IP413 COM Express ATX carrier board with Type 6 pin-out and I/Os for 24-bit dual- channel LVDS, four USB 3.0, four USB 2.0, and HD audio with Realtek ALC662 codec. The module also comes with an integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM 2.0) security feature, Digital I/O, watchdog timer, as well as two COM and two SATA III ports. Expansion is available with four PCI-E (1x) and one PCI-E (4x) supporting PCIe Gen 3 that allows faster connection to add-on cards and peripherals. For more information, please visit

New High-Voltage Connectors
R
osenberger high-voltage connector systems were developed especially for power transmission in electric
and hybrid vehicles. The harmonized connecting system consists of Rosenberger HV connectors for current loads up to 50 A and 450 A for cable diameters from 2 x 4 mm² to 120 mm² as well as power distribution units for the arrangement of customer-specific assembly formations.
