of rail, providing protection against environmental and operational challenges such as vibration, dust, and moisture. Many products are available with IP65/IP66 ratings for ingress protection and are manufactured from high-grade steel or aluminium with powder- coated finishes to ensure durability in both indoor and outdoor environments. Options are also available in stainless steel and thermoplastic for enhanced corrosion resistance. For station systems and signalling equipment, Rittal enclosures ensure

secure housing of control and monitoring devices, while in telecoms and IT communications, their modular rack systems support scalable network integration. In power distribution, Rittal’s railway electrical enclosures deliver safe, compliant containment for switchgear and control assemblies, designed to meet relevant international and UK standards. By combining Aerco’s supply chain expertise with Rittal’s engineering capability, UK rail operators and contractors gain access to enclosure solutions that deliver technical assurance alongside local service and support.

behind-the-scenes look at EMAS’s advanced manufacturing processes. Many expressed surprise at the extensive time, effort and precision involved in producing even a single component. Demonstrations included glow wire and product life testing, highlighting EMAS’s uncompromising commitment to quality and reliability. The distributors met the EMAS Türkiye automation team, whose sole focus is

driving continuous improvements in factory automation. They also learned about EMAS’s close collaboration with local Istanbul colleges, where more than 40 engineering students join the company three days a week for a year as part of their training. This initiative reflects EMAS’s long-term investment in nurturing the next generation of engineering talent. For many attendees, EMAS’s dedication to innovation, testing and

automation stood out as a defining feature of the visit. Of course, the trip was not all business distributors also enjoyed memorable evenings out in Istanbul, including a traditional Turkish kebab dinner that proved to be a highlight of the social programme. The visit reinforced EMAS’s strong partnerships with its UK distributors and

underscored the company’s vision for the future, combining world-class manufacturing with continuous innovation and strong global collaboration.

shows that 49% of organisations have made a formal commitment to achieve net zero emissions, yet only 2% say they are extremely confident their organisation will meet their net zero deadline. Graham Paul, service delivery director at TEAM Energy, said: “Given the size of the transformation required, I’m impressed with the achievements so far of many UK organisations, especially considering net zero has only been a UK target for six years. But now is the time for organisations to work closely with the right partners and take a structured approach to net zero planning...”
