ProDUcts caD/software
Design, analyse anD evalUate vessels
PV Elite 26, the latest version of Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence’s pressure vessel analysis software, has been launched. PV Elite is a comprehensive solution for the design, analysis and evaluation of vessels and heat exchangers. It
also provides capabilities for evaluating and re-rating existing vessels. Key new features and advancements:
• 2D/3D visual enhancements, including a new flat, rotatable 2D/3D drawing view augmented with a dynamic bill of materials.
• Improved material selection, with simplified access to favourite and pinned materials, and materials database search.
• Updated engineering codes: This new version incorporates the latest ASME and EN standards and rectangular vessel thickness
• Detailed Fatigue Analysis: EN 13445 Section 18 — Detailed assessment of fatigue life provides enhanced capabilities for fatigue analysis of each part of the pressure vessel.
• Dynamic dimensions in output reports: Reports now provide dynamic diagrams to understand the geometry of an element, such as a nozzle or heat exchanger.
• New connection types, with support for full-face flanges, rectangular flanges, clamp connections and O-ring flanges.

software converts caD Data into other formats
CT CoreTechnologie has updated its state-of-the-art CAD converter 3D_Evolution and is now also offering native interfaces for reading Solidedge and writing Nx as well as Solidworks files. Thanks to optimised memory management, the new software version has an improved processing speed and enables optimised processing of very large models. The CAD converter provides a powerful solution for the precise and
efficient conversion of CAD data into various formats, with the new interfaces fulfilling the current requirements of the industry. The software, with its latest improvements, offers substantial benefits for users who heavily depend on 3D modelling and design, utilising 3D models as their primary source of information, for the development of complex products. The new version of 3D_Evolution supports a wide range of CAD
formats such as Catia, Nx, Creo, Solidworks, Solidedge, Inventor, Step and Jt, facilitating smooth interoperability between different systems and collaboration in development environments with different CAD systems. The geometry kernel created specifically for data conversion enables high accuracy and reliability in the translation of CAD data and ensures that even complicated design details are retained without gaps during the conversion process. With its intuitive
user interface, the CAD converter simplifies complex and time- consuming conversion tasks, the company concludes.

embedded studio v8.10 launched
Specialists in Design and Analysis Software for Electromagnetics
Infologic Design (formerly Infolytica Europe) provides both general purpose, and motor and transformer specific electromagnetic design software.
Services include software, training, consulting, motor prototypes and motor production facilities
SEGGER has announced Embedded Studio - V8.10. This multi-platform IDE now also supports multiple architectures with a single setup, and can be used to build and debug programs for both RISC-V and Arm targets. Dirk Akemann, marketing manager at SEGGER, said: “Our emRun
runtime and emFloat floating-point libraries, the smart SEGGER Linker, and the highly optimising C/C++ SEGGER Compiler, work seamlessly to maximise performance and minimise code size.” Other enhancements include new mechanisms for code completion,
context-sensitive suggestions, and diagnostics. Tool tips provide context-sensitive details about every part of the code. In addition, warnings, errors and diagnostics are available while writing code, without having to wait for the project to build. Embedded Studio has direct integration for J-Link. It also supports
virtually any debug probe through its GDB Server protocol integration. Additionally, direct integration for ST-Link is now included. While J-Link debug probes provide unparalleled debug performance,
an extensive feature set, and support for thousands of devices, the native integration of ST-Link makes it easy to get embedded development started on commonly used ST evaluation boards. With SEGGER’s Friendly License, Embedded Studio is available for
