New pateNt-peNdiNg NyloN boNder from permaboNd!

Permabond’s new TA4660 acrylic adhesive is now available for the high-strength bonding of nylon surfaces. This two-part structural

adhesive is designed for use on difficult filled and unfilled nylon surfaces, with no requirement to carry out surface pre- treatment or priming before bonding. The adhesive cures fully at room temperature to

form a high strength joint. During pull tests, it even

caused the nylon to break, not the bond! This versatile adhesive can be used for bonding nylon to itself or to

metal surfaces such as steel or aluminium. It has good thermal and chemical resistance, making it ideal for use in automotive parts assembly, including for bonding and sealing nylon housings (such as battery casing). It is suitable for a wide variety of applications including bonding sports equipment, electronics, sensors, profiles and composite parts. This adhesive is available in cartridges for easy dispensing via static mixing nozzles. Bulk is also available for use in automatic dispensing systems. If you’re looking for a user-friendly, high strength adhesive for bonding

difficult nylon substrates and would like to test the Permabond TA4660, please contact Permabond’s technical team for friendly, helpful advice on the details below.
