ROBUST STAINLESS STEEL PRESSURE REGULATOR INTRODUCED

Now available from Eisele is a robust stainless steel pressure regulator, designed for applications in aggressive environments and industries with stringent cleaning requirements. Compact and user-friendly, the functional fitting simplifies compressed air supply in industrial and artisan applications. The pressure regulator can be

used as pressure reducer for supply pressures from two to 10 bar, and controls the outlet pressure to the consistent required working pressure. The screw-in fitting from the

Eisele INOXLINE has a control pressure range from two to eight bar and is designed for very fine adjustment with low fluctuation. In addition, the flow-optimised pressure regulator reduces the vibration behaviour of the control system, and it is also designed for quiet operation. The pressure regulator is mounted with 1/8-inch threads and can be used for water and air applications.

A NEW DOUBLE ACTING CYLINDER RANGE

In some applications, tipping may not be the safest or most efficient means of ejecting goods from a trailer – height restrictions or uneven ground, for example. The CD range of cylinders from Edbro, however, is designed to optimise the performance of Ejection Trailers. The CD cylinder range is an all-new design of double acting,

telescopic cylinder which is able to both push and pull using hydraulic power. The design borrows core technology from Edbro’s industry-leading C-Series of tipping cylinders, which are said to deliver a lighter, faster and stronger performance. With strokes of up to 11.5m, push forces reaching 80 tonnes and corrosion-resistant chrome plating as standard, the CD range is sure to meet the requirements of almost any application. The new range replaces Edbro’s RK cylinders, with the new

design delivering a step-change in performance and efficiency. The same lightweight, high strength, laser welding technique used for the C-Series cylinders has been adopted, delivering around 10% (or 60kg) in weight-saving and increasing the pressure capabilities when compared to the RK range. The CD range also features a reduction in working oil volume and an increase in stop contact faces, which allows faster pump flows to reduce the cycle time of the cylinder – improving operator efficiency. Another technology taken from the C-Series is the

compact cylinder head that allows the installed mounting centre to be optimised and the load carrying volume of the trailer to increase. The CD range offers savings of around 200mm on the mounting centre of larger cylinder models, which translates to approximately one cubic meter of additional payload. Peter Smith, sales and marketing director, said:

“The primary application of the CD range will be to push and pull the blade of an ejection trailer or refuse collection vehicle. However, they will be suited to any number of specialist applications in which loads must be pushed and pulled.”
