portfolio. This 8mm motor incorporates the company’s proprietary Ultra EC winding and an optimised bearing assembly, a design that enables the brushless motor to achieve speeds up to 60,000 rpm. Lower power losses lead to higher efficiency, while the absence of cogging torque results in smooth rotation and improved end-user experience. According to the company, the 08ECP20’s combination of

compact design, high-speed capabilities, efficiency, and maximised performance/price ratio positions it as the go-to solution for handheld device manufacturers across various industries. Examples include miniature actuators in the Aerospace and Defence sector, portable medical pumps, bionic and exoskeleton systems, and optical/laser systems.

have powered automated equipment in high-volume OEMmarkets for over ten years, including medical, AOI, and CNC equipment, the company states. The motors are rugged and

reliable, featuring brushless design, and oversized and permanently lubricated brand-name bearings, Class H high-temperature winding (180˚C), fault-tolerant encoder design, and fully sintered rare-earth magnets, are additional features. They also have multiple control options: Step and direction, digital I/O

triggered motion, code with Teknic’s rich C++ or C# library, Modbus (with ClearCore) EtherNet/IP (with ClearLink), EtherCAT, etc. Further features include adaptive compensation for high inertial loads,

velocity accuracy of 0.001%, patented vibration damping algorithms, an effective auto-tune, and more.
