Advertorial WHAT’S NEW SPONSORED BY Dutypoint adds value to Element range with cylinder launch
anufacturer of fluid, heating and pump systems Dutypoint has added to its
Element range with the launch of a new ultra high performance unvented cylinder for boosted hot water systems. Designed for the high‐end
residential and light commercial markets, the new WRAS Approved Element cylinder has a higher specification and capacity than other similar products available on the market. Whereas most domestic
cylinder ranges only go up to 3.5 bar of pressure, the Element cylinder starts operating at 4.5 bar, going up to a maximum of 6 bar. Manufactured to the highest
standards and using the best quality components to provide optimum performance, reliability and a long service life, each cylinder has large 28mm inlet and outlet connections for a high flow rate. “We’ve designed the Element
range of cylinders specifically to help solve more complex water pressure
issues,” comments Robert Freeman, Dutypoint Director. “It is one of the highest performing series of cylinders for residential and light commercial applications available on the market but is very competitively priced. Currently there isn’t a huge amount of awareness about this type of cylinder but with the launch of Element we are hoping to change that.”

to a Logistics Centre office hub incorporates Thorn’s Specline, a recessed LED modular fitting installed to provide optimum lighting for the offices. The combination of high‐efficacy LED module and high performance optics delivers up to 3700 luminaire lumens whilst achieving 79 Llm/W with a connected load per fitting f 47W. Chalice fittings were used for corridors and the
reception area to provide a lifetime of up to 50,000 hours, which will significantly reduce maintenance demands and costs. High output, energy saving, fluorescent Hi‐Rack was chosen for the warehouse to provide a longer life than HID alternatives. For the exterior of the building, Thorn tough and durable, wall mounted Piazza’s have been used to provide a high degree of advanced performance with modern styling. Avtrade now benefits from a robust and well‐ designed facility that meets the company’s specific needs and delivers a high degree of sustainability.

Rehau launches Rautitan modern pipework system
rand new from REHAU is RAUTITAN, a universal 10 bar pipework solution
designed for drinking water and heating systems comprising Flex and Stabil polymer pipes. The flexible PE‐Xa RAUTITAN
pipework system, available in coils, straights and as a pre‐ insulated system, delivers on durability, corrosion resistance and ease of installation. The Flex range, a five layer polymer pipe, is available from 16‐63mm and the multilayer Stabil pipe range is available from 16‐40mm. RAUTITAN is fully certified as
hygienic for drinking water. Its smooth surface prevents deposits forming while cavity‐free impermeable joints eliminate the risk of microbial contamination. It has WRAS approval for PE‐Xa and multilayer PE‐Xa. Suitable for radiator
connections RAUTITAN can be used for installations through the floor, skirting board or wall,
offering a selection of pipe sizes, fittings and accessories, including compact stainless steel heating pipe manifolds. Unlike conventional polymer
pipework, RAUTITAN uses the REHAU compression sleeve jointing system, producing a permanently sealed joint without O‐rings ‐ even at ‐10°C. Available in polymer, stainless steel and gunmetal, the RAUTITAN fittings offer flexibility and interoperability for installation specifications. REHAU’s compression sleeve
system has been used for over 850 million joints, with a zero fail rate. For more information visit

presence detector from CP Electronics, the UK’s leading supplier of lighting controls, has been tested and approved to IP65 rating in accordance to BS60598‐1 2015 standards for 15 minutes, demonstrating impressive water ingress protection. This makes it suitable for external applications including street lighting. With a range of up to 16m at a 7m mounting height, the EBMHS‐IP can be supplied pre‐wired with an RJ11 plug for connection to the relevant power supply. For lighting manufacturers, it presents a fully integrated control solution, approved to the same ingress protection standards as luminaires themselves. The product has also passed extensive vibration testing, further demonstrating its durability. John Mercer, Senior Product
Manager at CP Electronics commented: “The EBMHS‐IP has been carefully designed to integrate seamlessly into the luminaires of lighting manufacturers. We made a conscious decision to design and test this product to the IP65 rating, as this is the recognised standard for outdoor applications.” CP Electronics work closely with
lighting manufacturers, meeting their needs for design, technical collaboration and production standards. For further information about the CP Electronics range of OEM lighting control solutions, please visit
