SHOW PREVIEW HVACR Live – more than just a trade show
HVAC & Refrigeration Live (HVACR Live), the UK’s only dedicated national exhibition for the heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration sectors will take place from 18 to 19 April 2023 at London Excel
H I L
VACR Live comes at a time when trade shows are seeing a resurgence in the post- Covid and post-Brexit world. European manufacturers are keen to consolidate their
presence in the UK while those from further afield see the opportunity to make new trade deals directly with UK markets. Event manager Tony Patman said: “The wider UK HVAC&R markets have been crying out to meet up with each other again at a live event rather than on screen. Most of our European and international friends want to do business with UK companies, so the time is right for the industry to have a live national trade show.” The industry has reacted positively to HVACR Live returning in 2023 with existing exhibitors signing back on and new exhibitors proactively seeking to be a part of the event while London Excel places the show within easy reach of big business and the biggest projects. The newest exhibitor to sign up is Humidity Solutions which has said that it is ‘delighted to be attending’ HVACR Live. Managing director John Barker said: “Being able to showcase to the UK’s HVAC trade sector our comprehensive range of industrial and commercial humidity control equipment will allow us to demonstrate new innovations and products from the world’s leading manufacturers.” Exhibitors that have so far reconfirmed their commitment to being a part of the show include A&M Ductwork, BAPI, Carrier Rental Systems, Fieldpiece Instruments, Guntner, HMS Industrial Networks, Oxford Hardware, Polestar Products, Prihoda, Purifiedair, Taizhou Hangda Electromechanical and Vulkan Industries. In addition to the resulting wide range of exhibitors showcasing their products and services, the event will feature a conference program covering key issues from all of the represented sectors and a host of networking opportunities.
Themes running across the two days include • The road to achieving Net Zero Carbon • Building performance and safety • From Digital Age to Emerging Technologies • The Conference will be featuring speakers from both UK and European trade associations
as well as local authorities covering aspects such as future developments in technology, how upcoming changes in legislation will impact those on the ground and real-world case studies. For the more interactive minded there will be live panel debates looking at some of the most contentious issues such as ‘heat pumps vs hydrogen’ and ‘refrigerants: is natural the answer?’. Panel members from manufacturing, retail and trade bodies will be invited to discuss a number of issues with audience members encouraged to ask the questions they most want the answers to.
“The wider UK HVAC&R
markets have been crying out to meet up with each other again at a live event rather than on screen. Most of our European and international friends want to do business with UK companies, so the time is right for the industry to have a live national trade show.”
On the technical side there will be the Workshop dedicated to technical presentations and discussions from exhibitors keen to demonstrate their latest products and services. The Workshop will also be home to CPD seminars which will make HVACR Live a one-stop shop to keep fully up to date. Networking is a key part of any trade show and HVACR Live will have informal public areas dedicated to enabling old friends to meet up as well as private areas to conduct business and hold meetings. HVACR Live will culminate with the
prestigious ACR News Awards being held on the evening of 19 April, showcasing the best and brightest within the air conditioning and refrigeration sectors.
Mr Patman concluded: “With everything
HVACR Live has to offer, it’s the UK’s one- stop-shop to keeping your finger on the HVACR pulse.” To exhibit please contact Tony Patman <
