Elucian Power and Lighting Distribution Boards

T

hree Phase Power and Lighting Distribution Boards

are critical components in commercial, industrial, and large residential electrical systems. They provide a centralised point for power distribution, control, and protection of electrical circuits, including both lighting and power loads. Designed with the

installer in mind, the Elucian power and lighting boards from Click Scolmore are engineered to deliver reliability, efficiency, and ease of installation for electrical contractors working across a range of projects. Whether upgrading an existing system or building from scratch, Elucian provides a dependable solution for modern electrical demands. The boards are split into three sections - power, lighting, and accessories. Most distribution boards

on the market don't allow isolation of the different compartments. If a board needs amending it simply shuts off both power and lighting sections. However, the Elucian board allows a section of the board to be switched off while the other section is working, allowing for ease of maintenance without compromise. They feature a built-in Energy Meter for accurate tracking – allowing both power and lighting to be monitored separately on one energy meter rather than on two separate meters. This saves on cabling and space within the board. The boards are also supplied pre-installed as standard with type 1 and type 2 SPDs. This is for easy installation and to save time. There are 24 different combinations available – from an 8 Way (4 Power / 4 Lighting) 125A Vertical Consumer Unit, through to a 32 Way (20 Power / 12 Lighting) 125A Vertical Consumer Unit. They each feature quick release doors – they are fitted with spring clips, making them quick and easy

to remove. They also offer device alignment, with the boards maintaining device alignment when fully installed, to ensure a neat and organised appearance. To view the full Elucian consumer units and protective devices ranges, visit https://elucianuk.com/ or download the Scolmore Group app.

Precision meets performance: Resideo’s new small linear actuators debut at elementalLONDON 2025

T

he 2025 elementalLONDON Show is a great

opportunity to view the latest innovative additions to Resideo’s extensive product portfolio. Taking centre stage is

a newly unveiled range of small linear actuators, previously only seen at ISH in Germany and now available in the UK for the first time. Built for the commercial HVAC sector, the new actuator solutions deliver precise hydronic valve

control, helping building performance efficiency, guaranteeing comfortable conditions for building users, and tackling energy consumption for building owners. The new range has been engineered to meet the evolving needs of commercial HVAC systems from

new-build specifications to direct replacements in existing installations. Whether designing or specifying HVAC solutions, these small linear actuators deliver both flexibility

and reliability advantages through advanced brushless motor technology, easy set-up, and wide compatibility.

Four reasons to specify

1. Optimised for commercial projects: MSLM (Modulating) and MSLF (3-point) – perfect for FCUs, HIUs, and AHUs

2. 3. 4.

Simplified installation: LED indicators and control signal selection without removing the cover Flexible control options: Supports modulating, 3-point, and 2-point control Built to perform: IP54 rated, low noise, and backed by a 5-year warranty

Andrew Stokes-Roberts, Senior Account Manager at Resideo, says: "We received a very positive response when we first unveiled our new linear actuator to an international audience. So, it is great to have the product now available in the UK for systems integrators, specifiers, and installers. I would urge visitors to elementalLONDON to come see the product for themselves and connect with our experts.” Find out more here resideo.com/small-linear-actuators Resideo will be exhibiting on Stand F44 at elementalLONDON at Excel on 19th and 20th November.

resideo.com/small-linear-actuators to leadership in fire safety with new product range ROCKWOOL strengthens commitment C

onstruction product manufacturer ROCKWOOL has announced the first products to launch from its new global centre of excellence for fire-stopping at Hams Hall, Birmingham. Renowned for its Euroclass A1 non-combustible stone wool insulation, the company has used

its deep fire expertise and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to develop a new in-house fire- stopping range including coated batt, sealants, collars and wraps.

Industry-leading standards

In line with the company’s commitment to industry-leading practice, the new FirePro range has been tested and classified to the most recent fire resistance standards (including BS EN 1366-4, BS EN 1366-3 and BS EN 13501-2) that will become mandatory in 2029, ensuring the range is ready a full four years early and helping customers to get ahead and future-proof their specifications. For added assurance, FirePro’s testing has also been third party audited and certified for safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance by independent certification body UL-Solutions. “At ROCKWOOL, we don’t just meet fire safety standards – we help drive best practice. That means

advocating for tough, easy-to-apply regulations and approaches that reflect the real risks facing modern buildings,” explains Ben Peach, Product and Technical Solutions Director at ROCKWOOL Ltd. “We’re always looking ahead and helping our customers to navigate change, which is why we’ve

tested and classified the new FirePro range to the latest fire resistance standards – so our customers can specify with confidence.” By developing the range in-house and managing the product line from conception to delivery,

ROCKWOOL is also perfectly positioned to pursue ongoing innovation and drive industry-leading performance and sustainability.

Specialist support for customers

The first products in the new FirePro range will be available to order from 2nd October 2025, with the company’s specialist fire and specification teams on hand to assist customers with bespoke technical and project support. “Customers need access to expert resources to specify with confidence,” says ROCKWOOL Ltd’s Head

of Fire Protection & HVAC, Matt Jones. “That’s why we’ve launched the FirePro range with our specialist teams on hand as well as a robust

package of technical literature. This includes a new interactive Fire-stopping Standard Details Guide that provides easy access to safety-critical standard details to support specification and installation.”

New Training Academy coming soon

To further support industry partners as they adapt to changes driven by the Building Safety Act, ROCKWOOL plans to open a specialist training academy at the Hams Hall site this winter.

Providing clients with the opportunity to experience product demonstrations and learn best practice

installation techniques for ROCKWOOL’s fire-stopping, HVAC and fire protection products, the company expects to welcome a range of visitors from installation contractors and specifiers, to fire service personnel who are working to assess and safeguard public safety. The academy will complement ROCKWOOL’s existing e-Learning platform and furthers the company’s

work to support skills and competence in the built environment. More details will be available shortly to those seeking to book a training session at the new Midlands facility.
