ABB LAUNCHES FIVE AXIS DELTA ROBOT FASTEST FOR LIGHTWEIGHT PRODUCT PICKING
ABB is expanding its FlexPicker® Delta robot
portfolio with the IRB 365. With five axis and 1.5kg payload, the IRB 365 is both flexible and the fastest in its class for reorientating packaged lightweight products such as cookies, chocolates, peppers, candies, small bottles, and parcels.
Responding to the rise in e-commerce and growing demand for shelf ready packaged goods, the IRB 365 has been developed for applications including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods, where production line speed and adaptability are essential.
3” THERMAL PANEL PRINTER WITH BLUETOOTH INTERFACE
C
raft Data are pleased to introduce their latest direct thermal panel printer, the high specification SP-RME5. This 3” printer is a front- loading version with a lockable paper drawer and accepts a high-capacity paper roll measuring 80mm wide x 60mm (outer diameter). It has a print width of 72mm (576 dots/line) and its 170mm/sec print speed delivers high resolution (8 dots/mm) text, graphics, barcode (1D & 2D) and QR code print outs almost instantaneously. Multiple interfacing options of Bluetooth, USB, RS232 or Parallel (Centronics) offer flexible communication plus an RJ-11 connection for cash drawer control is also available. An integrated
autocutter provides full and partial cuts and helps prevent paper jams and potential thermal head damage during manual paper tearing or pulling.
Physically the printer measures 115(H) x 132(V) x 82.5(D)mm, weighs just 970g (without paper) and is driven from a 24VDC @ 2A supply.

FROM SELWYN ELECTRONICS…. T
ODU MEDI-SNAP
o meet the increasing call for improved user and patient protection according to the IEC 60601-1 as well as the ever-growing cost pressure and demand for high robustness, the ODU MEDI-SNAP®
range has been extended
to include three new styles of receptacle. The IEC 60601-1 standard requires the highest level of protection from electric shock of devices and their interfaces to provide patients and users with the greatest possible safety. Due to increased clearance and creepage distances the highest standards of the IEC 60601-1 can be full filled (2 MOPP / 2 MOOP).
In addition, the new GA receptacle type also stands out due to its robust design. An additional sealing system has been designed to meet the IP68 standard even in unmated condition providing ingress protection from water and dust which pass a consistent challenge in demanding industrial and medical applications.

arious medical systems and research applications require the most reliable and highly accurate monitoring of a wide range of temperatures.
Designed for systems that need precise and repeatable in-situ temperature measurements for control of processes involving RF, EMI, magnetic fields and high voltages, the Luxtron® m924 module uses FluorOptic® technology, based on a
temperature-sensitive phosphorescent sensor attached to the end of an optical fiber. The small and rugged non-metallic and electrically non-conductive FOT probes are immune to EMI and voltages that adversely affect conventional sensors, Check out the m924 module at Advanced Energy’s booth S19 in Hall 8A of the Medica/ Compamed show in Düsseldorf, which takes place November 14-17.
