MEET THE WORLD’S FIRST HAND HELD FULLY AUTOMATED PRESSURE CONTROLLER

W

ith the release of the Additel 760 there is finally a portable automated pressure calibrator which can be held in the

palm of your hand. Features include: · Pressure ranges from +0.62 mbar to 20 bar.

· Fully automatic calibrator with built-in pump and controller.

· Switchable internal pressure models for expandable ranges.

· Accuracy (1 year) of 0.02%FS.

· External pressure modules available (measure only).

· Less than 4 lbs (1.8 kg) for handheld operation. · Source pressure, measure pressure and electrical.

· The ADT 760’s innovative design contains a built-in pump, precision pressure sensor, internal controller and a large touch-screen colour display.

· USB, WI-FI and Bluetooth Communications.

Each unit has four channels: one internal pressure channel for source and measure pressures, two external pressure measurement channels, and one electronic measure and source channel.

SERIES A-IEF REMOTE DISPLAY D

wyer Instruments, the preferred source for your complete range of practical

and affordable instrumentation, is announcing the release of the Series A-IEF Remote Display for the Insertion Electromagnetic Flow Transmitter (Series IEF). Dwyer’s high performance and versatile insertion flowmeter can be utilized to accurately measure fluid velocity in applications such as: HVAC water monitoring and control, mechanical rooms with a small footprint, boilers and chillers, condenser water, boiler feed water, hard-to-reach piping, and more. The award-winning Insertion Flow Transmitter

offers flexibility without sacrificing accuracy. Each unit can be adjusted to fit into pipe sizes from 4 to 36 inches. With its integral temperature compensation, performance is unaffected by changes in temperature, density, viscosity, or concentration. In addition, a NIST traceable calibration certificate is supplied standard with each unit.

TRIGEAR FLOWMETERS R

epresenting the very latest and innovative development in the competitive arena of positive

displacement flowmeters which has been unchallenged for many years. Trigear challenges the more expensive technologies in terms of overall performance, accuracies (+/-0.25% of reading or better), repeatability (+/-0.02%) and low pressure drop (reduced by 33.3%) are three standout characteristics. Low noise generation is another bonus benefit. The Trigear totally outperforms its competitors when it comes to the accurate metering of the majority of clean fluids including fuels, oils, additives, chemicals, food bases, paints, viscous emulsions, insecticides, alcohols and solvents whether they be pumped or gravity fed.

Benefits Include:

• Very latest innovation for many decades (patents pending) • Custody Transfer accuracy and linearity standards (+/-0.15% of reading) • Wide turndown (less slippage, 54% more sealing characteristic) • Smoother and quieter-less vibration (balanced Trigears) • Dual Outputs (hall and reed switches) standard • No requirement for flow conditioning • Bi-Directional flow capability

DANISENSE INVESTS IN HV CURRENT TRANSDUCER CALIBRATION LAB

D

anisense, the leader in high-accuracy current transducers for demanding

applications, has set up a DC calibration test lab at its Danish headquarters and manufacturing site in Taastrup, further strengthening the company’s reputation for flexibility, quality and accuracy of its products. A free service for its high voltage

500V and 10,000V products, units are 100% tested and shipped with a Certificate of Calibration which details the actual current error (always significantly less than the ppm values specified in the datasheet), the error without offset and the linearity error. This enables customers to have full confidence in the measurements they make. Commented Christian Markvardsen, Project manager/R&D engineer at Danisense:

“The investment means that we can assure our customers of the accuracy of our current transducers without relying on shipping parts to a third party. Most customers are happy with the DC measurements that we provide, but we may look to add an AC measurement capability in the future.”

RED LION’S FULL RANGE OF SIGNAL CONDITIONERS BOOST SIGNAL STRENGTH WHILE ALLOWING FOR LONGER CABLE RUNS THROUGH INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTS

R

ed Lion’s full range of signal conditioners boost signal strength while allowing for longer cable runs through industrial environments. When used as a converter, these

devices can translate and incorporate signals into existing PLC architectures, eliminating the need for high-priced PLC input cards just to accommodate a unique signal input from a newly-added sensor. Offering a slim 6 mm footprint, each of Red Lion’s signal converters can accept or convert current, voltage, thermocouples, RTDs, resistance and pulsed input signals

Red Lion’s new signal conditioners are ideal for customers desiring superior signal integrity, and for industrial applications either requiring data from existing deployed equipment to be incorporated into IIoT strategies through the addition of sensors, or measurement processes involving precise sensor data requiring signals to be accurately transmitted over distance and without interference from external sources of noise such as VFDs and switching spikes. Rather than adding costly specialized I/O cards to an existing PLC system, Red Lion’s signal conditioning and conversion solutions allow plant engineers to add sensor data to current processes in existing formats, simplifying implementation and lowering costs. These new signal conditioner products offer amplification, isolation, and conversion

capabilities, ensuring signal integrity in harsh environments and across long distances, with the option to change the signal to the desired input needed dependent upon the application. A slim 6mm housing translates to added capabilities without sacrificing panel space.
