EIS – INSTRUMENTATION, ANALYSIS & TESTING PREVIEW
WATERPROOF DATA ACQUISITION I
P68-rated connectors, making it impervious to
shock, water and dust from -30-80 C° temperatures. With a footprint of only 60 x 60 millimeters, SLICE IP68 is designed to embed on or in test articles, like a wheel or rotating shaft, without the need for waterproof enclosures or slip rings.
SLICE IP68 supports a variety of external sensors including bridge and IEPE transducers for gathering measurements including acceleration, displacement, strain, pressure, temperature, voltage and more. The modular system is user-configurable based on required sensor support, sampling rates and channel count. The three-channel sensor input layers can support up to 24 channels per stack, which can be daisy-chained for higher channel count tests.

VBOX TEST SUITE T
together with the various modules, inertial units, and displays that accompany and enhance them, has led to their extensive use within virtually every sector of the automotive testing industry. To accompany the hardware,
Racelogic supply a software package, VBOX Test Suite, that significantly enhances the versatility of their data-loggers in constant use the world over. Developed based on extensive feedback from engineers who use a VBOX every day at the sharp end of vehicle development, the ethos behind the software is to significantly reduce the time it takes to conduct specific tests to exacting modern standards, and therefore caters to specialised applications as well as to more general testing. For more information and a closer look at types of specific vehicle testing, visit the VBOX Automotive website:

SMALLEST AND MOST RUGGED HIGH SPEED CAMERAS AVAILABLE
I
DT will be showing the smallest and most rugged high speed cameras
available. Despite the small size, the impressive image quality is high resolution and the high frame rates will capture the details of the majority of engineering tests. In addition, we’ll be launching tiny streaming cameras, cable of recording at high frame rates for sustained periods direct to a permanent recorder. This will allow even more applications to be tackled, including road and track testing. With equally compact and rugged LED lighting solutions, more applications than ever can be filmed in slow motion. All out equipment now has battery power options, so field based trials are no restriction. In addition, this year we’ll be exhibiting next to Thermal Vision Research, so come and see the demonstration on stand 57, showing temporal and thermal analysis of the test piece.
