CABLING AND CABLE MANAGEMENT ADVERTORIAL
Taurus range of low cost cable assembly solutions from Intelliconnect
Low-Smoke Zero Halogen Cable range
cable range, the first of its kind. Thanks to its unique combination of self-regulating and LSZH properties, the Raychem LSZH self-regulating heating cable range provides safe, simple and efficient pipe-freeze protection. This offers users superior performance and durability as well as improved energy efficiency.

Unparalleled building safety - compliance to IEC61034-2 and resistant to IEC62395
Developed specifically for use within commercial and residential buildings, the product range offers unparalleled building safety, thanks to a new LSZH jacket material. The new cables meet the requirements of low-smoke testing (with compliance to IEC61034-2), and provide extreme resistance under the IEC62395 flammability test.
The LSZH also has; Superior performance benefits, Improved energy efficiency and is Easy-to-use and install.

entair leads on innovation with its new Raychem Low- Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) self-regulating heating
harness solutions for both low and high volume requirements. Based on their recently introduced low cost Taurus connector series, cable assemblies can be supplied with RG style cables including RG58, RG316, RG174, RG178 and low cost LMR cables. All Intelliconnect cable assemblies and their market leading waterproof and RF connectors are manufactured in the UK providing fast delivery and unparalled support.

In addition to low cost cable assemblies Intelliconnect manufacture high performance low loss and semi-rigid cable ranges and has its own brand of cost effective semi-flexible cables designed to compete with Multiflex, T-Flex and Flexiform cables, suitable for industrial, defence, security and test system applications. These cables offer a lighter, more flexible alternative to semi-rigid types making system assembly and interconnection easier.
Intelliconnect works closely with customers to find the optimum solution for unique custom designs through to high volume requirements. Customers can also specify their own cable assemblies using an online cable configurator from which Intelliconnect will provide a quotation by return.
In addition to cable assemblies, Intelliconnect (Europe) Ltd manufactures a wide range of standard and custom RF connectors and components, including waterproof and fast turnaround custom designs which are undertaken without NRE charges to their customers. Intelliconnect also manufacture a large range of coaxial adaptors to facilitate inter-series connection and gender change etc. Typical applications include MIL and aerospace, marine, oil and gas, medical and general microwave markets.

systems, automotive, white goods, medical and lighting. Techflex sleeving offered by Optimas Components covers many forms, including general purpose, scissor-cut,
wrappable-split, flame retardant, ultra-high / low temperature and EMI, RFI, ESD protected. Halogen-free, general purpose FLEXO PET (PTN) grade is a low-cost, entry-level cable bundling and protection
product that is easy to expand over cables. It is UV, abrasion, fuel and chemical resistant and comes in a wide range of sizes and colours. A flame retardant VW-1-approved variant is also available – FLEXO FLAME RETARDANT (FRN). Offering a high abrasion resistance, easy field-installation and wide operating temperature range of -70 to 125°C,
FLEXO CLEAN CUT (CCP) sleeving can be cut with scissors without fraying – making it ideal for applications where access to a hot knife is difficult or impossible. A flame-retardant version is also available. More flexible than split conduit or spiral wrap, FLEXO F6 (F6N) is a flexible, semi-rigid wrappable spilt braided type
that opens up and wraps tightly around the installation. Cut and abrasion resistant, the sleeving retains its shape and rigidity over a wide temperature range of -70 to 120°C. An orange colour is available for safety identification in electric applications. The F6 WOVEN WRAP (F6W) variant provides higher flexibility and is suitable for retrofitting to a cable’s full length.

Flexible Conduit Specification Guide from Flexicon
launched its most extensive flexible conduit Products and Solutions Guide to date. The 164-page guide highlights many of the potential

hazards faced by cabling, using simple icons. It also has specific industry focussed sections that show the typical hazards faced and some of the cable protection systems commonly used. The Products and Solutions guide is divided into colour
coded non-metallic and metallic flexible conduit sections. Each section has a selection table at the front allowing specifiers to match different conduits against the hazard protection offered to make specification easier. They can then reference the page showing that product
and use pull out pages to match the flexible conduit with the corresponding correct fitting thus providing a complete protection system.
