UPS & STANDBY POWER SUPPLEMENT

Components Bureau is dedicated to offering power supply advice with support from a large team of experts

ith a wealth of experience in the power supply market, including

over 20 years experience from the UK team alone, Components Bureau is equipped to handle any complex power supply requirement to meet today’s efficiency and technical challenges that industry 4.0, IoT and robotic automation are bringing. Being able to offer a wide range of

products to suit the right industrial application means that the safety standards of the products exceed the application requirement. The expertise of the team confidently finds customers the right power supply by working closely with them throughout the design project, giving peace of mind that the power supply requirement is in safe hands. In addition to a full industrial range

approved to the latest 62368 safety standard, Components Bureau offers a very wide range of medical 60601

certified power supplies, from board mounted AC/DC and DC-DC devices up to 100W, through to 19″ rack mountable product, giving a total power capability in excess of 10kW. The greater isolation requirement of

60601, means all approved products feature two methods of MOOP (operator protection) or MOPP (patient protection). This offers a potential benefit for any product used when human contact is a possibility, whether in the healthcare market or elsewhere. A significant benefit of the latest

generation of 4th edition approved medical products is the enhanced EMC requirements set out as per IEC61000-4-4,5 and 6. This covers product intended for the home healthcare market, where the EMC environment will potentially be less controlled and benign than in a hospital. This therefore means that there is an off the shelf offering with

the highest possible EMC standards in terms of emissions and immunity. For any environment or design whereby the noise is an area of concern, a 60601 4th edition approved power supply is the best option to fulfil the standards off the shelf, system approval to 62368 can then be completed under the CB scheme using the existing reports.
