Analog Devices unveiled world’s first long-reach SPoE solutions


Analog Devices launched the world’s first Single- pair Power over Ethernet (SPoE) Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) and Power Device (PD) solutions to help customers drive greater levels of intelligence into smart buildings, factory automation, and other applications at the edge of traditional networks. The new offerings facilitate powered, last-mile


connectivity for factory and building automation through real-time power management, telemetry, extremely low standby power consumption, and ease of installation. Analog Devices said its new SPoE solutions,


LTC4296-1 and LTC9111, address the challenges of providing power and data to devices, even in remote, difficult to access endpoint locations. The company’s solutions aim to help new


families of endpoint applications to be seamlessly powered and accessed across the network and used to assess local factors such as asset health, environmental conditions, security metrics, and more. Combined with ADI Chronous, ADIN1100 and


ADIN1110 10BASE-T1L, Industrial Ethernet solutions, customers can reliably transfer both power and data over one kilometre – a significant increase from previous Ethernet standards.

insulated conductors, the PSI4000 and PSI4300 carry out measurements via inductive crocodile clips, which can be simply clipped on to speed up testing and reduce the risk of coming into contact with live parts. LEDs provide a clear indication of phase rotation


and have a high intensity setting for when working in strong ambient light. Both models also offer a buzzer indicator.


Danfoss Hansen’s quick-disconnect couplings for data centre liquid cooling applications


The Danfoss Hansen FD83 series quick- disconnect couplings are now available in a two- inch size and additional configurations of the popular one-inch size, are known globally for their performance, efficiency, and reliability.


With higher flow rates and a lower pressure


drop, the new two-inch coupling improves liquid cooling system efficiency, reducing power consumption and operating costs. In testing, the two-inch FD83 series coupling reduced pressure drop by 98% compared to standard 2¼-inch ball- locking couplings, according to ISO 7241-1 B. The FD83 series’ turn-to-connect feature


enables simpler, faster, and less costly coupling installation. The feature allows connections to be made without the risk of hose torsion or the need for additional adapters, which also prevents leaks due to incorrect assembly. Designed to ensure reliable, leak-free operation


and easier maintenance, FD83 couplings feature a patented dual interlock safety mechanism that eliminates the risk of accidental disconnection or spills.


The PSI4000 provides a correct indication for


clockwise sequence, while the PSI4300 provides a correct indication for anticlockwise sequence.
