Sarah Harper, Founder & Director, Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, Professor of Gerontology, University of Oxford Sarah was appointed a CBE for services to Demography in 2018 and Chair of the NGO HelpAge International


in 2024 and also served on the Prime Minister’s Council for Science and Technology. Her current research on demographic change addresses the implications of falling fertility and increasing life expectancy, and the interaction of population change with the social and natural environment. She is the author of many books on demographic implications, most recently How Population Change will Transform our World.

He has won the award four times, coming ahead of Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and Sir Martin Sorrell.


Robin Hoyle,World of Learning Conference Chair and Author Robin has spent more than three decades in L&D. He is the author of two books, and in 2022 he was named as one of the 15 most infl uential people in L&D. He is the Head of Learning Innovation for Huthwaite International.
