question. We present voices who are doing the difficult work


of re-envisioning Adventism: casting vision, proposing experiments, and offering constructive paths forward. Not because they believe they have the answers but because, in their particular areas of experience, they bring insight, imagination, and the courage to put their ideas into the open where they can be tested, refined, or even rejected. Tat kind of vulnerability deserves care. So, we ask you to


read these pieces graciously and generously. Not because the ideas cannot withstand rigorous engagement—they should be challenged, interrogated, and sharpened—but because it takes courage to imagine publicly. To say, “What if we tried this?” is to risk misunderstanding, critique, and failure.

Not because they know better than everyone else, but because someone has to begin building. Our hope is that as you read this issue, you’ll encounter ideas


that engage you, unsettle you, inspire you, and expand your sense of what might still be possible within Adventism. We hope that together we might begin to glimpse a truer, richer, and more compelling vision of who we could become—and how we might better serve the world God loves. May this be a step not only beyond deconstruction but toward a renewed imagination for the next Adventism.
