This year, the firm received a record-breaking number of
applicants and went on to appoint three outstanding work experience placements. Elsby & Co has also recently promoted one of its colleagues, Matt
Strachan to a Trainee L3 position and is celebrating with staff who have achieved exam success. Senior accountant Katie Simms has recently become a fully
qualifi ed accountant and her success follows that of her colleague, senior accountant Lydia Wright, who qualifi ed at the end of last year. Katie and Lydia were expertly supported in their studies by
Elsby & Co’s Head of Operations Ann Phillips and Audit Manager Sue Halsall who both have a wealth of experience in training and coaching. Claire Emery added: “Everyone at Elsby plays a part in the

they’ve accumulated will benefi t both our team and our clients.” Elsby & Co also works closely with First Intuition, Northampton
College and Bedford College to provide AAT apprenticeships for 16 and 18-year-olds, as well as graduate ACCA apprenticeships. It guarantees apprentices a structured learning programme,
