The owners of some of the best-known venues in the region have launched a bespoke events service that provides customers with a range of options for anything from a business event to a wedding celebration. MPG Events, the new events offering from McManus Pub


Company, was offi cially launched earlier this year and its portfolio includes two key venues in Stony Stratford, T e Old George and T e Bull. While the venues are ideal for weddings, birthdays, baby showers


and wakes, MPG Events’ message is T ink Diff erently, encouraging corporate clients to look beyond the pub setting or function room and see the potential, with the backing of an experienced events team, for hosting meetings, team building days or to entertain clients, with meeting rooms, TV screens, projectors and audio- visual equipment available, as well as the option to combine that with the chance to socialise and enjoy a drink and a meal before, during or after the event. And, as we approach the Christmas season, there are a range of


additional options, from party nights and festive menus to private party hire, and perhaps combining a strategy day or end-of-year presentation with a celebration afterwards.
