Friends of the sport see signifi cant benefi ts
As the world of motorsport marks a milestone year for Formula 1, Silverstone Museum announce new benefi ts for businesses joining its Friends of Silverstone Museum. Companies are invited to join the museum’s exclusive
membership initiative, aimed at championing STEM learning and protecting the illustrious heritage of British motor racing. Organisations joining the Friends of Silverstone
Museum will help support the museum’s vital work within the community while giving business members an array of exclusive benefi ts for their teams to enjoy. T e initiative also helps the venue’s ongoing educational programme, inspiring interest (and ultimately careers) in science, tech- nology and engineering. Located trackside at the world-famous Silverstone circuit,
the award-winning museum unveiled the latest business benefi ts that form part of its corporate membership package. The Friends of Silverstone Museum membership

us continue our ongoing day-to-day operations which ensure we are able to preserve and maintain our historic archive of racing memorabilia as well as expand exhibits of exciting racing cars and motorbikes, enabling us to provide a world-class experience for more than 160,000 visitors each year.” As Silverstone Museum prepares to showcase new
exhibits and historic racing cars to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the first FIA Formula 1 Driver’s World Championship race which was born at Silverstone in 1950, the venue revealed it is set to welcome a very special guest for an exclusive event taking place this May. T e museum will host an evening with former Formula
1 Champion Damon Hill OBE, who will be sharing stories from his extensive motorsport career. T e racing legend will be the guest of honour at the event, taking place on T ursday May 15. Tickets are priced at £25 and include a Q&A session, access to a prize draw and entry to the museum. In addition, 30 tickets will be available at £100 which will allow early access, a Sim suite session, a David Johnson live painting viewing, welcome drink and nibbles, front row seating for the Q&A, a personal meet and greet with Damon with a professional photograph, and a signed book. T ere will also be a charity raffl e at the event with tickets costing £5 each. Phil Lawrie added: “We are delighted to welcome Damon Hill to the museum for this superb event which
