he South African based oil marketing company African Group Lubri-
cants (AGL), has acquired CERA blending facility, after securing a long-term distributorship commitment with ExxonMobil and Quaker Houghton. AGL is the authorized dis-
tributor of Mobil Lubricants in South Africa as well as Quaker Houghton’s industrial process fluids to the primary metals and metalworking markets. With the new acquisition,
AGL will now offer toll-blend- ing and warehouse facilities. Currently, AGL offers lubricant solutions to industries ranging from transportation to industrial, renewable energy, steel, among others. Apart from being awarded
the rights to manufacture automotive lubricants in South Africa by ExxonMobil, AGL has also been granted local blending rights on certain product ranges for the mining, construction, and agricultural sectors where it will be expanding into. “AGL’s vision is to keep expanding our locally manu- factured product portfolio and offer competitive solutions to our customers in South Africa and surrounding countries,” said Mark Kerwan, AGL Managing Director. “Quaker Houghton is
