Goodyear Lubricants launches a new product line
oodyear Tire & Rubber Company, has unveiled its new range of lubricants oil, under the official licensing collaboration with Assurance Intl Limited and extended distribution to South Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand markets. The new lubricants line is compliant to BS 6 (EURO 6) specifications, hence contributing to the reduction in Carbon Footprint. Launched in Mid-January 2023,

the product line is catering to all kinds of lubricant oil needs of commercial and passenger vehicles running on varied fuels and application categories. These ranges from engine oils, gear oils, greases, brake fluid, coolants, transmission oils, automatic transmission fluid, hydraulic oils to diesel exhaust fluid. Commenting on the new

Limited’s Chief Business Officer (CBO) & Vice-President of South-Asia said: “The new line of Goodyear Lubricants products reflects Assurance Intl Limited’s strong environmental conscience and our focus on innovation. The new sustainable engine oils will significantly reduce the carbon footprint of vehicle users with the upgraded formulation and packaging. It will also enhance the driving experience while meeting the latest national and international standards.” In addition to the new
range of engine oils, Goodyear Lubricants has also reinvented its new packaging with varied brand colours augmenting brand visual appeal which will be laddered into Entry, Mainstream and Premium product lines for customer ease. The product packaging will also use 15% less
plastic to help protect nature and improve longevity, reliability and performance. Assurance Intl Limited will
also expand its distribution and provide after-sales assistance to consumers in Australia, Bhutan, Brunei, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, New Zealand, Nepal, Singapore, Thailand, Timor – Leste and Vietnam markets. Assurance Intl Limited, part
of Satya Group, is a leading manufacturing and marketing company. Satya Group was established in 1974 with the primary focus of bringing to market specialty lubricants and general lubricants. Goodyear is one of the
world’s largest tire companies. It manufactures its products in 57 facilities in 23 countries around the world. In 2020, it ventured into the lubricants industry in India.

Castrol launches new engine lubricant for motorcycles
Act evo, for bike engines. The new product features ActibondTM molecules that cling to an engine’s internal components to provide continuous protection across all stages of the ride – when starting up, when running, and even when the engine is off. According to Castrol, the new

formulation provides 50% better wear protection for bike engines during start-up, fights the build-up of deposits to maximise engine cleanliness during operation and offers excellent corrosion protec- tion, even when the engine is off. Samit Mehrotra, Global Brand
