VINYL RESET: 6 RECORDS YOU CAN’T MISS, FRESHLY RELEASED

YOU ARE SLEEPING EP | NICODEMO | ALZAYA RECORDS

Alzaya is an Italian label based in Milan, focused on italo, balearic and electronic music. “You Are Sleeping” is the title of Nicodemo’s new EP. I particularly like the first track, which I would describe as “hypnotic”: it’s an invitation to lose your bearings, a deeply immersive work that elegantly inhabits the border between wakefulness and sleep. On the B-side, the record expands with two remixes. Enjoy the sonic exploration!

FRIENDS ABOVE BERLIN | LORENZO FORTINO & FRANCESCO SALVADORI | CONNESSIONI

A new release from Fortino, alongside Salvadori and his Berliner friendships and influences. On the A-side, both tracks stand out: one has influences in the style of Propellerheads, the other recalls the Murk boys, and they both work really well on the dancefloor. Great work!

CH IN A GYPSY WORLD | THE ANALOGUE COPS | DIGGERS SOCIETY

This vinyl is special, especially the 10-inch one. The track I adore, from the very first listen, is “Burning Jack,” which in my opinion could become the anthem of the summer. Also the track called “Fake Black Out,” besides being premonitory, transports you to a “rave” dimension that blows the dancefloor apart.
