“Fire Papi” es el resultado de un intenso trabajo durante el 2023, en el cual Iñigo ha fusionado sus influencias y experiencias para crear un conjunto de cuatro temas que encapsulan su sonido distintivo de una manera muy propia. Desde el acid house hasta el techno, este EP está impregnado de una energía frenética y una atmósfera trippy que transporta a los oyentes a un estado de trance.

Más allá de eso, el EP está repleto de disonan- cias y capas de sintetizadores que evocan la atmósfera hipnótica de una rave en medio del desierto mexicano.

Con elementos como solos de timbales, sonidos de changos en la jungla y trompetas disonantes con ritmos percusivos latinos, “Fire Papi” es un homenaje a la vibrante escena de rave de México en su apogeo.


En cuanto al proceso creativo detrás del EP, Iñigo revela que sigue un enfoque orgánico y espontáneo.


“El proceso creativo es el mismo que en todas mis producciones”, comparte. “Es llegar a mi estudio, encender todos mis cajas de ritmos, modulares y ponerme a jamear y ver qué sale”.

But Iñigo’s inspiration does not stop at traditional roots; it also extends to the modern world of electronic music.


“Having grown up in the 90s and being able to experience that time and having known techno, trance, or house combined with all this resulted in my sound.”


This fusion of influences, from the ancestral to the contemporary, is manifested in his music, which he identifies as a vibrant and energetic “Latin rave.”

“Fire Papi” is the result of intense work during 2023, in which Iñigo has merged his influences and experiences to create a set of four tracks that encapsulate his distinctive sound in a very personal way. From acid house to techno, this EP is imbued with frenetic energy and a trippy atmosphere that transports listeners into a trance state.

Regarding the creative process behind the EP, Iñigo reveals that he follows an organic and spontaneous approach.


“The creative process is the same as in all my productions,” he shares. “It’s about getting to my studio, turning on all my drum machines, modular synths, and jamming to see what comes out.”
