Experiencing the presence of my dad at my gig in Mahalla Berlin in November 2023 felt surreal. Seeing him in the crowd and looking into his eyes, while playing, and seeing how proud he is of me was an incredible feeling. It was a moment where I felt fulfilled.”
APRIL 2023: A TURNING POINT
April 2023, a month that etched a turning point in NIKOLINA’s career. A sold-out month with 12 gigs marked a breakthrough, leading to consistent demand and opportunities at larger venues. It was a testament to the impact of dedication and hard work.
“April 2023 holds a special place in my journey, as it marked a turning point in my career. Achieving my first sold-out month with 12 gigs during that period was not just a milestone but a profound confirmation that my hard work and dedication were paying off.
After April, my calendar started filling up with upcoming shows, and I felt a consistent demand for my gigs. It was a turning point, a breakthrough moment for my career. The quality of the gigs got better, and I found myself playing at larger venues.
Being fully booked and experiencing the growth in both the scale and quality of my shows was in- credibly rewarding. It’s amazing to see how one month can make such a difference. Looking ahead, I’m excited about the opportunities that continue to come my way, and I’m grateful for the journey from where I started to where I am now.”
UPCOMING PROJECTS: ALL-NIGHT-LONG SET AND CHARITY EVENT
In 2024, NIKOLINA is set for an all-night-long gig at Gotec, Karlsruhe, marking a special return to a cherished venue. A charity event in April, dedicated to cancer treatment, holds personal significance. Her debut EP in June promises to be an emotional musical journey.
“In 2024, I’ve got a couple of exciting projects lined up. First on the list is an all-night-long gig at Gotec, Karlsruhe on March 2, 2024. This is a special one for me because it marks my first-ever all-night-long set, and Gotec holds a special place in my heart. I’ve got a beautiful history with this club, and playing there always feels like coming home. It’s a chance for me to showcase my musical journey across all the genres I love. The extended time allows me to build a stronger connection with the crowd and truly express who I am as an artist.
Another significant event is a charity fundraiser in April at Gotec, Karlsruhe on April 6, 2024. This cause is deeply personal as my mother passed away from cancer. I want to use my platform to make a positive impact, so the proceeds from presale and at the door will be donated to a local cancer
