Techno, as a genre, is constantly evolving. Where do you see your

sound and style fitting into the future landscape of techno music?

"Techno has undergone significant changes since I started; in the early

days, everyone

played around 130bpm, and the genre was more stripped down with fewer elements. I still cherish that era, and it’s something I consistently incorporate into my current style. Although I’ve always considered myself a hard techno DJ, the shift towards higher bpms, reaching 155 and beyond, has placed me in the middle of techno and hard techno. I find my sweet spot in sets ranging from 135-145 bpm. Despite the evolving landscape and rising trends, I’m committed to staying true to my style, steering clear of chasing current sound hypes. I believe in carving my path within the future of

techno, rooted in the elements that have shaped its rich history".

You’ve mentioned the importance of connec- ting with the audience during a set. Can you share an instance where this profoundly

performance?

"I personally love delving into tracks that are a bit more experimental. It’s a thrilling experience because it makes me second guess, wondering if the audience will connect with it. There was a moment during a set where I decided to try out one of these experimental tracks for the crowd. Witnessing a positive and enthusiastic response from the audience was truly

connection influenced the direction of your

rewarding. It

encouraged me to steer the set further into that experimental direction, allowing me to have more fun and take creative risks. It’s a reminder that not every track will resonate with everyone, so the key is to have fun with your own set and enjoy the journey of exploring unique sounds and expressions".

Finally, for aspiring DJs and producers who look up to you, what piece of unconventional wisdom or advice would you offer them as they navigate their own paths in the world of electronic music?

"My advice for aspiring DJs and producers is to surround yourself with like-minded individuals. Being in an environment with people who share the same passion and interest not only keeps you motivated but

also opens doors to more

opportunities. That’s how it started for me". "Try

to commit to DJing or producing for at

least one hour every day. The progress you’ll make when you look back will be astonishing, building confidence and readiness for your journey".

"Remember that all your favorite artists once

took that first step. If they can achieve their dreams, so can you. Put your mind to it, manifest your goals, and believe that you have the potential to be that artist inspiring others one day".
