Part of Public Footpath No.26 Rimington, Ribble Valley Borough, commencing from Its Junction with Public Footpath No. 27 Rimington, at Point A (GR SD 8044 4531), and running in a general south easterly direction, for a distance of approximately 317 metres to the - Footbridge and its junction with Public Footpath No. 19 Twiston at Point B (GR SD806Q 4505)


Part of Public Footpath No.19 Twiston, Ribbie Valley Borough commencing from its Junction with Public Footpath No. 26 Rimington, at Point B (GR SD 8060 4505) and running in a general south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 323 metres to Point C (GR SD 8089 4492) and its junction with Public Footpath No. 16 Twiston.


The closure Is necessary because of the likelihood o f danger to the public as the bridge is becoming unsafe due to the erosion of one of the abutments
