A surveyor and business- , woman from Sabden has been awarded a prestigious prize.
Alison Watson, managing director of Class ofYour Own, has won the Richard Carter Prize after being selected as Geospatial Engineer 2014 by the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES). The prize is awarded
every two years toageospatial professional who is judged to have made a significant dif ference to the civil engineer ing surveying industry, either individually or through team leadership. ■ Class ofYour Own, found

again showing their generous nature and a steady stream of gifts have been collected at the two drop off points, the Salvation Army charity shop in Lowergate, Clitheroe and the Skipton Building Soci ety office in Market Place. The deadline for donations is Tuesday, December 16th. Captain Elizabeth, Smith of the Salvation Army, said:
