■ The grants are available via the council’s Warm Homes Healthy People Scheme. Housing o fficer John Barber said: “Warm Homes
Healthy People has been a huge success over the years and we are delighted that it now includes emergency boiler replacements (or re pairs, which will give a val-% liable boost to vulnerable households facing fuel pov erty.” "- Up to £2,000 towards
emergency boiler replace-' ments or repairs is available to residents aged 65 or over,: or with young children and in
receipt of an income-related benefit: ' Over-85s needing a boiler
repair are entitled to an un conditional grant up to £250.
