FIFTY-FIVE walkers and six dogs .braved the cold weather to take part in the 17th annual Whalley Walk and Ri-
;; diculous Hat Competition. ■ - . Although the weather was dry with little . wind, the footpaths were extremely muddy due, to the rain, so the walkers did well to . complete the six-miie circular walk.
