PAINTINGS of iconic Lancashire places are on display at the Clitheroe Library. Acrylics by artist Noel
Holt, who is a former Langho resident, are be ing exhibited until the end of the month. The impressive display features beautiful land
scapes of the Lancashire countryside and local land marks such as the Castle, Pendle Hill, Church Walk and many more. Other paintings of well-known places in the region'in clude Haigh Windmill, a Slandish Farm and scenes from all over Lancashire. Noel, who now lives
in Chorley, said: “My pictures are only of Lan cashire because being a Lancashire lad, I like to portray the varied scenery that is all around us.” The exhibition is free
for the public to enjoy and many of the paintings are for sale, with a starting price of £10.
