You must be a Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years' post registration experience to work with our nursing team in a busy and varied clinical environment.


Experience of Treatment Room, Minor Injuries or A/E Nursing is essential as is evidence of post-registration training and relevant up to date clinical knowledge, skills and experience. Knowledge of recent primary care developments is also required and a basic knowledge of chronic disease management would be an advantage.


You will be required to be able to work autonomously or part of a team, maintain professionalism under pressure, have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and a desire for your own professional development.

Experienced and reliable, you will join our well established Nursing Team and undertake direct patient care, including investigation procedures and treatments and non-patients based activities including reception, clerical, stock control and data recording.


A minimum of two years' experience in a caring environment with NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is essential. You should also enjoy working as part of a team and be able to communicate effectively with patients/carers and other multi-disciplinary teams.


As the workload is unpredictable it is also desirable that you have the ability to work well under pressure in a busy clinical environment. The ability to work flexible shifts over a five day week will be required.
