Ambitious plans for thriving tennis club


CLITHEROE Tennis Club is looking to become bigger and better this summer. The club extends a warm welcome to


those with modest, and ambitious, tennis aspirations to come down to the courts on Chatburn Road to join the throng. On Sunday, the club is opening its doors


from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to anyone who might be interested in taking out mem­ bership this year. There will be a chance to bring your


racket along to have a knock, or just come down and have a chat and a cup of tea with current members. The club prides itself on having its


heart in the community, and aims to cater for all needs by providing a variety of activities both on and off the court. Every Monday and Thursday from 7


p.m., there are club nights where you just need to turn up to be guaranteed a game. Professional coaching for all age groups
