Bid to reduce vehicle speeds in Clitheroe
DETAILED drawings are being prepared for two Clitheroe 20 m.p.h. zone schemes. In a letter to Clitheroe Town Council mem

Hundreds flock to see hall’s gardens
TRADITIONAL teas and ice cream refreshed visitors to a historic Ribble Valley venue over the weekend. For two days, Lord and Lady Clitheroe
again opened the gardens of Downham Hall to raise funds for two local good causes. In sunshine and showers, about 700 people

Accused of theft from car
A MAN has appeared before magistrates at Blackburn charged with theft from a car parked at Clitheroe Golf Club. David Richard Hargreaves (25) of Brodick Road, Blackburn, was remanded in custody until August 15th.
