I "jolly". We were wrong. As soon as we arrived
I at the distillery we were put under classroom conditions, cramming a three-day course into [j

1 a guided tour of the dis tillery and cellars hav ing the privilege to taste three great whiskies from 1964, all quite dif-
1 ferent. The first was from a I bourbon barrel, which
1 was quite fine and oaky, the next
from an
Oloroso sherry barrel, which was very rich
1 with a Christmas cake taste and finally, some thing very rare, a] whisky from a fino sher-
