F irm ’s scheme all adds up as fa r as schools are concerned

PARENTS will soon be able to buy school uni forms and . make a donation to their child's school at the same time, thanks to an innovative scheme from Clitheroe-based firm

Trutex. The UK's leading school-

wear and sportswear brand has launched Trutex School Link in response to research which reveals that parents are having to contribute more money to help hard- pressed schools. A survey commissioned

by Trutex shows that 45 per cent out of 1,000 parents questioned make voluntary contributions to help fund schools while, in the past five years, 38 per cent have increased the amount they contribute to school funds every year. Now, thanks to Trutex

School Link, parents are able to easily boost school funds through the scheme, which allows schools to nominate the Clitheroe firm as their supplier of uni forms. Parents then receive a mail order catalogue and 10 per cent of any purchase made is paid to their chil
