STAFF at Clitheroe’s Platform Gallery have been overwhelmed with a record amount of entrants for the open exhibition which starts


today and runs until April 17th. More than 150 pieces of work will be on


show and the very best pieces will be dis­ played, creating an exciting exhibition of


mixed media. The exhibition has been organised to give


arts and crafts people from Lancashire the chance to have their work displayed in pub­ lic, with a number of exhibitors hailing from


the Ribble Valley. As a result of the exhibition, the Platform


Gallery is asking members of the public to vote for their favourite piece. All those who vote for the winning artist will be entered into a prize draw. The winner will be awarded their prize, which has yet to be announced, alongside the winning artist at the preview of


the next exhibition. begins at 7 p.m.
