We are searching tor a Sales Trainer who can incorporate a back to basics approach with a creative presentation style and innovative view of future sales development, to help launch “Winning Posts". East Lancashire Newspapers Sales Machine initiative.
This is a senior position and it is unlikely that anyone with less than three years junior management or training experience would possess the depth of knowledge required.
As a group wo are introducing the “Sales Machine" which will provide the basis for our sales development of the future.
Written by the Managers of the commercial department in conjunction with sales staff, you will be responsible for implementing our “Sales Machine" project, including assessment of performance, training, and portfolio preparation for a total of 23 tele-sales and field sales.
The age of applicant is not important, but the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a solid career path in selling, a genuine enthusiasm for staff development and the ability to forecast future sales
competencies, and at interview stage support their claim with examples of both creative work and sales technique. The importance wo place upon this “Search for Excellence” is paramount, our objectives ore three fold. 1. To ensure our ’ runners' maximise all sales opportunities by providing professional and effectrve presentations.
2. To provide our sales staff with the knowledge to develop their performance and career prospects. 3. To enhance our policy of caring for internal and external customers.
