1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT HAS MADE an Order under Section 14(1) ol the Road Trallic Regulation Act 1984 on the A59 Trunk Road at Gisburn, Lancashire.
2. THE EFFECT OF THE ORDER will be -
(a) to impose a 40mph speed restriction; and (b) to prohibit overtaking, on a two mile length of the trunk road between Greengales and Gutteridge al Gisburn.
3. THE PURPOSE OF THE ORDER is to increase safety
during the construction and improvement ol the A59 al Gisburn.
4. THE ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE AT 9 a.m. on Monday 13th July 1992 and will remain effective until the works are completed, approximately 1 2 months.
5. The overtaking ban and 40mph speed limit will be indicated by tralfic signs.
